Yesterday was the first ever free photoshoot giveaway photoshoot with Miranda May, one of our two contest winners. The shoot was early Monday morning from 8am-10am and we took a variety of different shots in different locations throughout Mission Beach. Jason Kirby, the owner of the The Right Light Photography was the photographer for the shoot and made sure their was a good mix of cute, funny, sexy, and serious poses and photos taken throughout the morning.

Miranda mentioned that this was her first time ever doing something like this, and I am going to have to say she did exceptionally well for her first time. Not only was it her first professional photoshoot, but it was a 2 hour full blown session. She was upbeat the entire time and was there to have fun. Her good and upbeat mood showed in the pictures. Making them great candidates to run a search engine optimization campaign for. In about a month or so you should be able to see us on the first page for these keywords and potentially a few others.

How are we doing it?

We have begun with running reports on San Diego Headshots and San Diego Event Photographer and figured out what our competition is doing so we can mimick what they have already done and then some. This includes a lot of backlinking and research determining which sites to post our link on and what anchor text to use. We have begun submitting our link to multiple directories and creating a lot of content of the main site to drive in quality links. We are also outsourcing some of the work as well. We hoping that by doing some the easy stuff ourselves and outsourcing the hards stuff we can see results pretty quickly.

Last weekend TRL Photography was hired by Jaclyn Christian to have some new headshots taken for her efforts in being in the next Twilight movie. She is aspiring to take on the role of the Vampire that leads an entire vampire army in the 3rd and 4th movies of the Twilight series. After the photoshoot and understanding her passion for acting I truly believe she would be great for the part and I wish her the best of luck. Below are the photos she sent in to the casting director.

Our winners will be given a 2 hour photoshoot at their convenience and will be asked to share their experience. The photoshoot will consist of as many looks as they like and may be in studio or on-location. The beauty of this giveaway is it gives the winners complete control over what photos they want to have taken. They can be fun, serious, professional, or they can even bring friends if they like.
