On Tuesday The Right Light Photography was hired as the main event photographer for Eli Lilly and Company, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. It was an absolute honor to be their photographer for their South and Southwest Conference of 2010 at the Sheraton on the marina here in San Diego. \ The event started off like most conferences or conventions with h'orderves and drinks. With people snacking in the background it was my job to photograph all 16 sales teams in a one hour time period. Each team consisted of 10-15 people and it was on me to organize them in a symmetrical manner and get them all to smile and not blink for each photo. Each team was allotted 2-3 photos as time was of the essence. Once the team photos were done it was time for dinner to began and the award ceremony to follow. The award ceremony was extremely difficult to photograph and I am sure many San Diego Photographers have dealt with similar problems. Being too close with a zoom lens was a tough one when having to switch back and forth between lenses for single and group shots. However, the job got done and was everything turned out great. I want to thank the Eli Lilly team for being wonderful hosts and putting on an electrifying event that all attendees really seemed to have enjoyed. Twin Oaks House and Gardens Photography 01/12/2010
This week The Right Light Photography was hired to provide the North San Diego County Association of Realtors (NSDCAR) photography for their event at Twin Oaks House and Gardens. The event was held to bring in the new year and install the new board members and president of the association. The night was a blast to be a part of because of the western/cowboy theme they had. Everyone was dressed up and ready for a good night making it easy to grab some great photos of everyone enjoying themselves. The event was well organized and had some great ideas to engage the guests in karaoke and western theme photoshoots. If you attended the event you can find your photos here. You can also see a few below. At least one of them. We just received a letter from Google's headquarters notifying us that we were selected as a "Favorite Place on Google." The San Diego Photography Classes and our studio/office has been seen by thousands of people searching on Google and has had favorable responses from visitors. This is how Google determines their selection. They base it on relevance of the content on the websites, where they are located, how many people search for the business, and how many people interact with the Google Local Listing. We are really excited about this honor and are offering a 10% discount to throughout the month of December. If you book your event in the month of December we will offer you a 10% discount. Last week was the grand opening of the newest edition to the iTan Solariums chain. The new store opened up in Mission Valley next door to BevMo and Coffee Bean. The Right Light Photography was there to offer our event photography services to capture the party as well as all of the new tanning and spa equipment they offer at the saloon. It was brought to our attention that this saloon is the largest tanning facility south of Hollywood and is expected to be one of the most successful in San Diego. We were excited to be at the event and photograph the guests in attendance enjoying their free food and free tanning that night. We want to congratulate the owners of iTan and wish them the best of luck with the new location. The Williams' was by far one of the funnest events I have ever been hired to shoot. They rented out the Bahia Belle on Mission Bay and all of the guests were there to celebrate Williams' 8th wedding anniversary and their soon to be baby on the way. It was a beautiful night with just the right temperature outside so it was not too cold to be on the deck. The guests in attendance were an absolute blast and extremely easy to work with and made for a fun and enjoyable night for everyone. I look forward to working with them in the near future. San Diego Event Photography for United Way 10/02/2009
The Right Light Photography has been looking for ways to give back to the community and non-profits in any way that we can. We were lucky enough to be called by United Way to donate our services to photograph a very significant board meeting. UPS the shipping company donated over $200,000 to United Way of San Diego. It was a very excited time for United Way and they want to make sure to capture the handing over of the check ceremony. I met with Angela who was very nice and made sure I felt very comfortable and told me all about the different board members and how the contribute to United Way. I was very honored to have been at the event and serve the organization. |
